This page explains how to delete your AI Business Card Scanner account and everything stored with it. It applies to the app published by Gobaith Technologies, package name com.gobaithtech.bussinesscardscanner.pro.

The fastest way — inside the app

If you still have the app installed, this takes a few seconds and happens immediately.

Open the app, go to Settings, scroll down to Backup, and tap Delete Account. Confirm when asked.

Everything listed below is erased from our servers straight away. You do not need to email anyone.

If you no longer have the app

Send an email to mk021375@gmail.com with the subject Data Deletion Request, from the email address you used to sign in.

We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm from that address, because it is the only way we can tell it is really you asking.

What gets deleted

Your account and the email address attached to it.

Every contact you backed up — names, job titles, companies, phone numbers, email addresses, notes and tags.

Every business card photo you backed up.

Your saved backup, if you have taken one.

Your scan counters and the record linking your device to your account.

All of it is erased permanently. We do not keep an archived copy, and it cannot be recovered afterwards.

What is NOT deleted

Contacts saved on your own phone. Those belong to you and stay on your device. To remove them, open the app and use Settings, then Clear All Contacts, or simply uninstall the app.

Your Google Play purchase history. Google keeps that, not us.

If you use the app without signing in

Then you do not have an account, and there is nothing on our servers to delete. Scanning without an account stores your contacts only on your own phone, and uninstalling the app removes them.

Cancelling a subscription is separate

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, because subscriptions are handled by Google Play rather than by us.

To cancel, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, choose Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel from there.
