These Terms cover your use of the AI Card Scanner Multilingual Android app (the App), published by Gobaith Technologies (we, our, us). By using the App you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You may use AI Card Scanner Multilingual if you are 13 or older, or the minimum
age required where you live, whichever is higher.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only
with the permission of a parent or guardian, and any purchase must be made by
the person who owns the Google Play account being charged.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are
authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. What the App does
The App reads business cards using AI text recognition, saves the details as contacts on your phone, and lets you build and share your own digital business card.
Scanning sends the card photo to our server to be read. Without a connection the App reads the card on the device instead, which works for Latin script only. What happens to that photo is set out in our privacy policy at https://gobaithtechnologies.com/bcsh-privacy-policy/.
3. Your account is optional
You can use the App without an account, with a smaller monthly scan allowance. Signing in with your email is free and does two things: it increases that allowance, and it lets your contacts be backed up and restored on a new phone.
There is no password; we email you a single-use code. Keep access to that email address secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, then Backup, then Delete Account, or from https://gobaithtechnologies.com/bcsh-delete-account/.
4. Free plan and Pro
The free plan includes a limited number of AI scans each month. The current allowance is shown in the App and may change; if we reduce it, we will do so for new billing periods and not retroactively.
Pro removes the scan limit and unlocks additional card designs, multiple cards, PDF export and an ad-free experience.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play, not by us. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel or manage them in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Google under their policies.
5. AI scanning is not guaranteed to be correct
Text recognition makes mistakes. Names, numbers, email addresses and company names can be misread, especially on unusual layouts, damaged cards, poor lighting or handwriting.
Always check a scanned contact before relying on it. We are not responsible for loss caused by an incorrectly read card, a missed detail, or a contact saved with the wrong information.
6. Other people’s information
This is the most important clause in these Terms, so it is written plainly.
When you scan a business card, you are storing another person’s personal details. You are responsible for having the right to do so, and for how you use those details afterwards — including any marketing, sharing or export.
Data protection law in your country may apply to you as the person holding that information. Using the App does not transfer that responsibility to us.
Do not use the App to build lists of people who have not given you their details, to scrape contact information, or to send unsolicited messages.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the App or our servers, use automated tools against our API, resell access, or use the App for anything unlawful.
We apply rate limits and an abuse ceiling to protect the service. Attempting to work around them, including by creating accounts in bulk, is a breach of these Terms.
8. Your data and ownership
Your contacts and your own cards belong to you. We claim no ownership of them and do not sell them or use them for advertising.
You can export your contacts to CSV at any time, or to PDF on Pro.
Backup is a convenience, not a guarantee. We take reasonable care, but you should keep your own export if the data matters to you. We are not liable for loss of data stored on your own device.
9. Advertising
The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Where consent is legally required, the App asks before any ad loads, and you can change that choice in Settings under Manage Privacy Settings. Pro subscribers see no ads.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that scanning will produce a particular result. Scanning depends on our servers and on Google Gemini, and either may be unavailable.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gobaith Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from an incorrectly scanned card, lost contacts, or reliance on the App.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time, delete your account from within it, and uninstall it.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that harms the service or other users.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change, and continuing to use the App after an update means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
